How It Works
Fraud detection at a glance
When a customer visits we collect data to uniquely identify the device, a fingerprint. We can track your real location (even when you hide). We use artificial intelligence and a machine that learns, to classify the transaction into risk categories, including identifying potential chargebacks before they are routed to and processed by a PSP.
Cosmonaut transaction scoring has a number of groups that are graded according to the value of the individual characteristics. Cosmonaut’s customisable business rules add or remove a score from each characteristic resulting in a final combined score that can aid routing or pass/fail decisions.
Cosmonaut uses the following categories: Identity, Location, History, Velocity, Fraud and Other to produce a graded score-card from which decisions, like routing or denial, are made.
